Mad Yoga x Yoga for Neurodiversity Workshop: Unmasking Neurodivergence

Unmasking Neurodivergence: Disrupting Neuro-normativity through Yoga

Join Becky for an interactive and educational workshop all about understanding and affirming the diverse ways we think, feel, move, and connect with the world around us. We’ll explore how we unmask our natural ways of being through yoga, and how we can offer ourselves and our students more space to disrupt harmful expectations and truly experience the joy of being ourselves. Donations welcome. Hosted by Brooke West and the Mad Yoga Network

Show up however you are most comfortable for this low-demand offering; you can practice from bed, a chair, yoga mat, wherever!

During this workshop you can expect:

  • Info-dumps from the heart about neurodiversity and yoga.

  • A sampling of accessible, neuro-affirming yoga practices.

  • Opportunities to question, reflect, journal, and share.

  • Flexible ways to participate and communicate.

Participants may wish to prepare:

  • Tools for journaling.

  • Props for sensory comfort and stimming, like a cozy blanket, colorful fidget toys, cool rocks, furry friends, and favorite scents.

  • Play your own background music if you wish.
