Yoga for Unmasking

Join Becky for a monthly peer-guided yoga and mindfulness practice with a focus on gentle somatic exploration, self-study, and nervous system regulation to support you on your unmasking journey. You are welcome to join if you identify as neurodivergent or align with neurodivergent experiences, and/or are exploring whether you might be neurodivergent. You don’t need any previous experience with yoga to participate.

 This is a live Zoom event only and will not be recorded. 3rd Thursday of each month @ 12 pm Central Time.


Monthly peer-guided group practice to support your neurodivergent unmasking journey!

Zoom sessions happen on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 12-1 pm Central Time (Chicago, US). Option to stay until 1:15 pm for open sharing.

​Join Becky (they/she) for a monthly peer-guided yoga and mindfulness practice with a focus on gentle somatic exploration, self-study, and nervous system regulation to support you on your unmasking journey. You are welcome to join if you identify as neurodivergent or align with neurodivergent experiences, and/or are exploring whether you might be neurodivergent. You don’t need any previous experience with yoga to participate.

 This is a live Zoom event only and will not be recorded. Cameras on or off, your choice.

 During each 60-minute session you can expect:

  • A low-demand space where you can show up exactly as you are. 

  • Flexible participation options for practicing in a chair, on a mat, from your couch or bed, or wherever you feel most comfortable. Spoonie-friendly.

  • Trauma-aware, body-neutral, and neurodiversity-affirming instruction.

  • Gentle movement and explorative, subtle practices for mind-body connection (not asana/pose-focused).

  • Guided rest and meditation.

  • Closing reflection.

  • Stay for optional "tea time" after our session! (1:00-1:15 pm Central Time)

You may wish to have certain items on hand for your support and comfort, but none of the below are necessary for participation. Examples include:

  • A chair, pillow, blanket, bolster, cushion, or other props for comfortably sitting and lying down.

  • A blanket, hoodie, socks, etc. for extra coziness.

  • Fidget/stim toys, emotional support pets/plushies and sensory tools (e.g. weighted blanket, aromatherapy, eye pillow) for grounding and regulation.

  • Journaling tools for taking personal notes.

Pricing:

This class is included in your monthly membership for $10/month, or pay what you can when you can, no questions asked. More payment options are available when you register.
